Hi! I'm Shimi and I'm glad you found our site! I’m guessing you want to take flight? Well you're at the right place!
Let me tell you something about myself. You know that one person who kicks up into a handstand over and over again hoping to one day find balance? I was one of them. But I had more luck with frustration than I had with balance.
This went on for years. All I wanted to do was to move effortlessly on my hands and arms. It was this frustration that drove me to create The Controlled Strength™ method - a succinct technique and drill based method that taps into the full potential of the body to take it to greater heights - and safely.
After years of research, I started incorporating these drills into my practice and instantly began to experience rapid progress.
So much so that the coaches I were training under called my progress phenomenal and that they had seen nothing like it.
Since the launch of Controlled Strength™, my coaches and I have supported over 700 practitioners every step of the way, to get them moving effortlessly upside down. From beginners and long term Ashtanga practitioners, to rock climbers, professional martial artists, Crossfit enthusiasts, and to even personal trainers and yoga teachers - we have, and continue to have, practitioners of all backgrounds walk through our studio doors. These practitioners not only experience rapid progress in arm balances, but also in performance based activities they engage in outside of Power & Posture™.
